SEO Service No4. The most effective way of building links to the website starts with looking at the links your competitors. Ask yourself, what made your competitors websites more authoritative than yours? The Competitor Research will provide a list of every ‘decent’ website that links to those of your competitors. This will help us identify the best pages and websites to try and get links from, based on authority, trust and relevance. Remember, links arent allabout getting links from the externallink sources. Getting links from your own website is often the best oportunity that you will ever have and they wont cost anything apart from the time it takes to make the content.

Link Building

Getting links created and implemented is a different story. It takes time, costs money and is often difficult to measure it’s true attribution to the traffic gained through it, either in direct traffic or through social shares or better organic search engine visibility.

​I often take a 2 fold approach working the clients own marketing resource and with a chosen industry specific link builder / partner to drive specific links. 

Getting all those other links added can be done by working with an intern or the internal comms team to reach out and create relations with these potential linking partners. Other websites (local business forums etc) can be filled in by a form. In some cases the being listed will cost money simply to be listed, on other occasions, bloggers and influencers will ask for fee’s.
